August Cottage is part of our ‘Calendar Cottages' collection of 1:48th scale dolls house kits by Petite Properties…

Each kit within this range comes with a set of full colour, step by step instructions which teach how to construct the property.  You can then bring the property to life as you choose!

The house itself has a removable front elevation and front roof.There are 4 internal rooms over 2 floors in the main house and 1 room in the sun room.

Approx constructed dimensions

• Width = 15 cm
• Depth =  15 cm (including sun room)
• Height = 16 cm (to top of chimney pots)

Bea’s top tips for August Cottage

• This kit has been specifically designed to feature a thatched main roof and so is not suitable for roof tiles.
• If you apply air dry clay to the roof to create the thatched finish, ensure that the roof is left to dry at room temperature. 
• Due to the water content in air dry clay, you may need to sand the interior of each dormer window, to ensure it fits easily into position on the cottage
