1:48th Range Cooker Kit

I was keen to make this piece, as I have a full sized one in my kitchen. I painted the cooker red, with a black top and base and silver plate covers. I added black handles and a silver badge. It is gorgeous, I am delighted. Louise Bamber (23 Jun 2023, 19:05)

Another great little kit to assemble, I have two PP cottages and one of these in each. I assembled the body and painted all the pieces before glueing in place. Silver nail varnish worked well on the stove top burners as I had no silver paint and I found the rail easy to glue on (glued a little tea towel to this first!). I loved making this. I painted the lids silver before putting them on and that seemed a lot easier than not pre-finishing them. It went together perfectly and easily - there is even a a metal piece included so you can make the handle. This is so much easier than doing it from scratch. I painted mine sage green and it looks just like the real thing...bravo.C.Anderson (21 Feb 2017, 21:32)
