Such a pretty delicate shape. So easy to make up. Doors spring open so have glued them shut but could be left open to see inside. Used 'dirty stone' paint then 'old beams' to distress. Fabulous!Caroline Mitchell (18 Apr 2016, 14:54)

I find as you can't use wood stain on these models water colour works much better than acrylic paint. Acrylic is too heavy and gives too much blanket coverage for a tiny object so I use one layer of watercolour and it looks lovely and gives a better overall effect. I'm not at all artistic and can't do "ageing" effects so this works for me.Louisa Morgan (23 Jul 2015, 11:49)
